Dr. Lorelei Cropley graduated from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She possesses extensive experience and professional training in community health projects. She has been a Certified Health Education Specialist since 1992. She has presented papers and posters at numerous domestic and international conferences and won the prestigious “Best Poster” award for a presentation for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene conference in Cambridge, England. Dr. Cropley’s interests include international health, epidemiologiy, school health programs, maternal child health and community health. She is actively involved in several projects that address hurricane Katrina related health issues in the community and schools of New Orleans. She is supported by her wonderful family that includes husband John, children Camille and Marcus, three Bull Terriers, four Guinea Pigs and furs horses and a donkey. She enjoys horseback riding and can seen in several parades during Mardi Gras on one of her horses.
