Dr Bonis has been at the University of New Orleans since 2000 and has focused on the instruction of exercise and motion sciences in the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests are in the area of bone development and growth response in adolescent and adult athletes during training and competition. He also conducts training assessments for high school and intercollegiate athletes in the metro New Orleans area. He was Program Director in HPHP for the Greater New Orleans Senior Olympics, and, prior to his association with the University of New Orleans, coached youth baseball and football in the metro New Orleans area for sixteen years.
