I have taught all of the courses in Mild/Moderate disabilities sometime during my 25 years at UNO. Recently I have taught some of the doctoral seminars, the transition courses (EDSP 3640/3641, EDSP 4240G, EDSP 6625), the Collaboration/Consultation Course. I have also been involved with the development of the Alternative Initial Certification Programs in Mild/Moderate Disabilties (Pilot Practitioner and Alternate Post-Bac Programs)and the state redesign of the of the intital certification and Masters degree programs in the past 3 years. I am also currently involved with the EDSP department initiative to update our doctoral program. I have also been involved in the preparation activities for the NCATE and Accreditation Program Reviews and Site visit in Fall 2007.My research and professional endeavers focus on Transition issues, life skills instruction, positive behavor support, and collaborative activities.
