Marietta Del Favero has been at UNO since August 2005. Her research interests span the broad topics of academic leadership, faculty work, and shared governance. Recent research has examined faculty-administrator relationships in institutional settings, the impact of academic discipline in leadership contexts, and administrative impacts on student learning. Dr. Del Favero has served as an administrator in all three segments of higher education in California, including eight years as an institutional researcher in a community college setting. In addition she served as a consultant in the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching. Her interests include cycling, tennis, and restoring her 125-year-old French Quarter house.
