Louisiana Early Education Program Institute
(LEEP)

Description of Project:

Goal

The goal of the LEEP Institute is to offer a statewide program for the completion of university course work required for Louisiana Certification in Early Intervention.  Alternate service delivery formats are utilized via the Institute:  two one-week summer Institutes and one Internet course.  Opportunities are provided for candidates throughout the state to complete their certification requirements, thus, increasing the number of certified personnel who are adequately prepared to meet the needs of young children with disabilities and their families.

Louisiana Department of Education

The LEEP Institute is a grant-funded program, not a contract, with the state Department of Education

Year 2 - $57,000
Year 3 - $57,000
